Seeking Sources: Interior Design Pros
Are there downsides to using dark colors in your home?
Seeking interior design experts to provide brief (3-5 sentence) and unique answers to these questions:
In the trend of dark exterior colors, what are possible concerns that come with that (i.e., hotter house, more expensive AC bill, etc.)?
Is it true or false that painting your house a darker color makes it hotter and makes your space feel smaller?
Are there ways to prevent a darker-painted home from becoming hotter (better insulation, siding, windows, etc.)?
